We are pleased to announce that we have hired a part-time Director of Youth Ministries: David Steenhoek of Rochester. He begins his time with us in October and will be installed October 11th. David is originally from Iowa, and worked in youth ministry for many years after college at a Presbyterian church in Oregon. He joined Mt. Olive Lutheran in Rochester, and has begun several years of preparation to be a pastor in the ELCA.
My name is David Steenhoek. I have a 12 year old daughter named Elodie and a 3 year old Goldendoodle named Penny. I am in my second year at Luther Seminary working for a Master of Divinity. In my free time, I love to read (fiction) and volunteer with youth football. I’m so excited to meet y’all!
